Reading Well for mental health provides helpful information and support for managing common mental health conditions, or dealing with difficult feelings and experiences. Some books also include personal stories from people who are living with or caring for someone with mental health needs.
MECC Link has been developed by the by the Yorkshire and Humber MECC Community of Improvement to support and promote lifestyle behaviour change at scale within the region. Do your loved ones live in Supported Housing or in Care Homes in the area? We can bring our successful person centred Reminiscence into your settings.
For a charge, the sessions which already run in branch libraries can be delivered to people who may be living with mid to late stage Dementia in any care setting.
