We offer a service where we consider purchasing items that you cannot find on our library catalogue. Log In to your account first and then complete the simple online form



The library catalogue is being upgraded between Thursday 19 April and Tuesday 15 May.
During this period, if you add any items to 'My Wishlist' they will not be saved when the upgraded library catalogue goes live on Wednesday 16 May. We suggest that you Send, Print or Download 'My Wishlist' on or before 15 May.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Renew your Books, Audiobooks, CDs and DVDs by logging in to Your Account using your library card number and PIN and clicking on "My loans".
You can renew your eAudiobooks by logging in to our eAudiobook website.
Due to licensing restrictions it is not possible to renew eBooks. However, once the loan period of your eBook has expired you can download it again as long as it isn't reserved by another customer.

The Micro:bit is a handheld, fully programmable computer available for loan free of charge from all East Riding Libraries. You can use the Micro:bit for all sorts of cool creations, from robots to musical instruments – the possibilities are endless.
The Micro:bit is suitable for children and adults but as it contains small parts it is not suitable for children aged 3 years and under. Parental guidance is required for use by under 8 years.

Get a reminder that your items are due back three days ahead by email or text.
Just pop into any East Riding library and give them your email address or mobile phone number and choose which one of the methods you want to be notified by. Then you can return the items on time or renew them using your Account
